Champagne Afternoon Tea, perhaps?

Since The Cellars opened in December 2017, it became clear to Chef Askew that our ‘oyster shell’ lit subterranean sanctuary needed it’s own identity. Part of that identity, is our Afternoon Tea offering.

Served on a Stainless Steel ferris-wheel stand, our sandwiches and sweet’s are homemade in The Art School kitchen with the same level of love as a tasting menu.

We offer three levels of Afternoon Tea: Standard, Prosecco, and Champagne – each of which are suitable for many a different occasion.

2.00pm to 4.00pm

To include a selection of handmade sandwiches;

Corn-fed Whitchurch free-range chicken with curried Raby egg,

spring onion, mayonnaise and watercress on brioche

Cold- smoked trout and Atlantic prawns bound in a lemon, chive,

9+heirloom tomato & mascarpone cream on Art School rye bread

Mrs Kirkham’s mature Lancashire cheese and homemade coleslaw

with spring onion and watercress on Art School Pain cereal

Also included are the following desserts per person:

Strawberry and lime mousseline with balsamic strawberries

Praline Feuilletine with candied hazelnuts & white chocolate ganache

Guanaja chocolate and cherry torte with Amaretto mascarpone

Lemon curd & matcha Chantilly choux bun

Art School buttermilk & cherry scone with clotted cream and

Art School red berry jam

The following options are available:

 

Loose leaf tea or freshly brewed coffee included with each menu
