ART SCHOOL AT HOME MENU BOX REVIEW

LIVERPOOL CONFIDENTIAL

Lots of you have been enjoying our Art School Art Home Menu Boxes, even more so since we sadly had to close the restaurant temporarily.

It’s been an absolute pleasure being able to serve our customers with an Art School fine dining experience even while everyone’s at home.

If you’ve not tried one yet, then there’s plenty of time – You can pick yours up on from the Art School Emporium on your designated collection day, which is a Friday or a Saturday.

There are four menu boxes available: meat, game, fish and a vegetarian option which can be made with vegan alternatives upon request when you check out.

Each box comes with the food pre-prepared. All you have to do is warm some items up and serve – We’ve done the hard part. Each menu has its own instructions so you know exactly what to do.

Each menu comes with an amuse-bouche as well as our signature home-made bread. Our non-vegan menus include Wirral Single Herd Raw Milk Butter, which is a recent addition to our offering and makes for a real treat.

We’ve been fortunate enough to receive a glowing review about our menu boxes from Liverpool Confidential. If you haven’t had a chance to read it, you can catch up on the full review here.

On our butter, produced by Field 2 Fork, our friends at Liverpool Confidential commented:

“The salty, creamy butter is so soft, it would probably make a ceiling tile taste like heaven.”

High praise indeed!

We love to provide food that is top quality that also makes you feel good after eating it, so it was wonderful news to our ears that the crew at Liverpool Confidential described our oven-baked loin of Peterhead Hake as “delicious, and dare we say? Quite healthy too.”

The time we find ourselves in is no time to be sparing with the goodies, and we always love to push the boat out, so we were thrilled upon hearing that there was plenty to go round, even leftovers for the following day:

“It’s no secret that Paul loves to look after and feed people generously and we were so stuffed we had to save the petit desserts for the next day.”

Of course, Chef Askew and the team place as much emphasis on the wine as with the food, being experts in wine pairing and acknowledging the additional flavours that complement the meal, so Liverpool Confidential are right to point out that picking up a bottle is a must before you leave the Emporium.

If you need help deciding, our knowledgeable staff are more than happy to help you select a suitable candidate.

To do your own menu tasting and leave your own review on Facebook, you can order your box online from the Art School Shop.
