Tom Parker – Guest Chef Dinner

1 Michelin Star…

Tom Parker began his career at Northcote Manor, Langho Blackburn (1 Michelin star), at the age of 16 as an apprentice. Worked his way up through the team, winning Young chef of the year in 2011 (aged 21), to finally become Senior Sous Chef at age of 24. During his time at Northcote, he went on a work placement to De Leest, Netherlands which is a 3 star Michelin restaurant. He spent just over 6 months here. Wanting to gain more experience (and see a little of the world!), he went over the Mexico for a holiday and ended up staying and working at Capella which is Mexico’s most renowned hotel/restaurant. Returning home from Mexico he joined a new business venture with friends at The White Swan in Fence in December 2013, and went about changing it from a small local’s pub to a fine dining pub/restaurant. After just over 12 months hard work, Jay Rayner wrote an amazing review of The White Swan for The Guardian (Feb 2015).
